BP is one of the world's largest Oil and Gas businesses with over 70,000 employees. Using Microsoft Analysis Services and XLCubed, XLCubed partner Altius provided a robust BI toolkit to all levels of BP's Exploration and Production segment globally.

Marshalls is the UK's leading manufacturer of natural stone and concrete hard landscaping products, supplying the construction and home improvement markets. Having recently implemented Dynamics AX, Marshalls wanted to extend their reporting and BI capabilities across the key functions of the group including sales, purchasing, finance, manufacturing and transport. Their primary requirements included flexibility in ad-hoc reporting for a wide user base, formal reporting and dashboard delivery, along with both mobile and automated delivery of key reports to management.

Established over 100 years ago, Thorntons is one of Britain's largest chocolate makers, and best loved brands. Thorntons were long term users of Microsoft's Analysis Services platform but had several gaps in their reporting capabilities, particularly for remote and mobile users. Thorntons enjoyed a smooth rollout of XLCubed with strong and enthusiastic user adoption as seen in a post-implementation user satisfaction survey.
